Father God, help us to always be faithful to You. Help us to read Your word, and Lord let us submit to You, so the Holy Spirit can guide us. As it says in Proverbs 16:9 “we can make our plans, but the LORD determines our steps.”

Loving Father, regardless of the falsehoods and persecution that we may face, help us to keep our eyes on You, on our good works in Your name, and on our eternity with You.

Holy Spirit, help us to rise like eagles above our distractors, their falsehoods and challenges we face. We ask that You guide us to act righteously and with wisdom, without bias, with grace, love and compassion in Your name.

Almighty God, in this ever changing world of fear, scandal and fake news, we can feel scared and uncertain; but it gives us peace to to know that You are unchanging, that You are the truth and the light to the world, and we can always be certain in You.

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble

O Lord, help us to remember how precious it felt when Your amazing grace first relieved us of our pains and strife. May we be ever thankful for the many troubles and toils that Your grace has brought us through this far, and may Your grace lead us home. Help us to reconcile that whilst we may be wretches and with fearful hearts, that it is through the blood of Jesus, and Your amazing grace that we are saved.

Heavenly Father, we pray with eternal thanksgiving that you sent Your Son Jesus to live an incarnate life, and that He died for our sins. One drop of His blood is sufficient for our salvation, yet He gave it all for us. Thank you Jesus for all that You have done for us, then now and always. Let us confide in You, pray to You, pour everything out to You. For this, we are forever grateful.

O Lord, my God, help us to remember that You are for us, not against us. Help us to lift our eyes to You, and only to You. For You are “My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” (Ps 91:3). Please Lord guide us, keep us looking forward with clear and godly eyes, so that we can follow Your way. Thank you, Lord, for the peace, love, and security You promise.

Heavenly Father, “Keep me safe, O God, for in you I take refuge” (Ps 16:1 NIV) . O merciful Lord, we thank you for the countless mercy and blessings you have shown us, let us not take these for granted. May your blessings and truth spill out into this nation, may our leaders share in wisdom, and our communities feel the wonder of Your divine grace in their lives; now and forever.
