Children’s Ministries

We offer a wide range of ministry to children throughout the parish and beyond.  All children are welcome to these. There are a range of activity clubs and our Junior Church ministry.  We aim to give kids a range of fun-filled, action packed fun with the message the Gospel at the centre. We have a selection of contemporary clubs and activities. Most of these clubs run during school term times on the following days and times:

Thursday – The Kingdom Kids Puppets Club – 6:15-7:30pm.  The children learn the art of puppetry whilst practicing towards a Puppet Show a couple of times a year.  There is usually games and noisy fun, running off excess energy before bedtime!

Sunday – The Children’s ministry team runs our Junior Church most Sundays, with Messy Church on the 1st Sunday of each month.  These are fun-filled with a range of Arts and Craft activities and games inspired from the nationally acclaimed Messy Church organisation. The other Sundays we have a mix of teaching activities, music and singing.

Messy Church fun begins at 11:00-12:30pm in the East Hall behind the Church, all Parents and Kiddies are welcome. A light lunch is usually served for all the family.

Junior Church – we meet in the main Church at 10:50am.  The children are encouraged to meet and sit at the front together.  There is a sing-song and special and usually funny message of faith and purpose from our minister Rev. Jim.

In-Service Day club – We aim to run these most school In-Service days. The Children’s ministry team organise lots of activities, craft, games, DVD’s; there is usually a t-shirt or hat to take away. They usually run all day starting at 9am and running to 4pm. Lunch is bring your own.  Kids can easily come for half days, before or after lunch.
