Our Minister

Rev Dr James (Jim) Connolly
Jim comes from Glasgow and has been our Minister since November 2004.
He was ordained into the Ministry in 1982. He is married to Janice and they have three grown up children and six grandchildren. Before coming into the Ministry he worked in digital electronics (computing) and journalism.
He commenced his theological training in what was then the Bible Training Institute (Glasgow) and latterly known as the International Christian College. He achieved his DipTh from both BTI and Cambridge University, St John’s College.  He has also studied Pastoral Theology at Edinburgh University gaining his Cert. Min. and has a Masters degree in Theology from British Isles Nazarene College & Manchester University. He studied with Aberdeen University and Pittsburgh Theological Seminary and gained his doctorate – specialising in holy matrimony formation.  He worked with the Free Methodist Church in Lancashire for over twenty years in new church planting and fresh expressions of church.
Jim is also an NHS Chaplain in St Andrews Community Hospital as well as throughout Fife’s NHS as part of their Spiritual Care Team.
